Know Before You Go

We can’t wait to welcome you back INSIDE Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre for Disney On Ice!  Before the magic begins, we’d like to remind you of some of our recent venue policy updates, plus provide some additional information about your upcoming event.

MASK POLICY/COVID 19 SAFETY INFO:

ASM Global reminds everyone attending events at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza to please adhere to the new hygiene and security policies in place consistent with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Pennsylvania Department of Health guidance for the safety of all participants, guests and employees at the arena including:

  • Face coverings and social distancing for guests who are fully vaccinated is not required but is strongly encouraged per current recommendations from the CDC
  • All guests two years of age and older who are not fully vaccinated must wear face coverings during their visit except while actively eating or drinking
  • Guests do not need to show physical proof of being fully vaccinated
  • We will rely on our guests to accurately follow the guidelines based on their vaccination status

If a guest is experiencing any of the following, we ask that you please stay home:

  • A guest who has COVID-19 symptoms
  • A guest who has a COVID-19 test result pending
  • A guest who is under a healthcare provider’s care for a positive COVID-19 test
  • A guest who has been exposed to COVID-19 (unless fully vaccinated)

TICKETS:

  • Guests with mobile tickets should have them pulled up on their device before going through security
  • Guests under the age of two do not need a ticket if seated on the lap of a ticket holder
  • For guests picking up their tickets, the NBT Bank Box Office will open approximately three hours prior to the event time for will call pickup

SECURITY:

  • All guests must pass through walk-thru metal detectors prior to entering the venue
  • Guests are asked to have their keys, wallets and phones out of their pockets upon arrival at the security checkpoints and jackets should be unzipped
  • Mohegan Sun Arena’s “Clear Bag Policy” allows guests to bring their personal belongings in a clear tote not to exceed 12”x12”x6’
  • Wristlets measuring 4″ x 6″ x 1″ are also permitted
  • Purses, backpacks and diaper bags are no longer permitted inside Mohegan Sun Arena
  • Soft sling carriers for infants are permitted
  • Please, no car seats are strollers inside the venue if possible
  • No outside food or beverage is permitted inside the venue

PARKING/DIRECTIONS:

  • General parking is $10 cash sales only upon arriving at the venue parking lot
  • Guests with VIP/Reserved Parking passes should use the left two lanes from the Highland Park Blvd. Entrance to access the VIP/Reserved lots near the West Gate Entrance
  • Parking spaces are first-come, first-served
  • A limited number of ADA parking spaces are available in the General, Reserved and VIP Parking lots
  • All parking lots will open approximately 90 minutes prior to the show start time
  • The Highland Park Blvd. entrance will be open for this event. The Mundy St. entrance will not be open.

DOORS/EVENT TIMES:

  • Gates are scheduled to open one hour prior to the show start time (subject to change)
  • The approximate event duration is just under 2 hours

BUILDING TEMP:

  • It’s Disney On Ice…in SUMMER! Temps outside might be warm, but remember to bring a blanket or light jacket to help keep you warm, especially if you are seated near the ice.

CAMERA POLICY:

  • Point and shoot cameras are permitted along with cell phone cameras
  • Video/Audio recording and professional lens cameras (detachable lens/lens longer that 3 inches) are not permitted

CONCESSIONS:

WIFI:

  • Mohegan Sun Arena now offers complimentary guest WIFI
  • Once near the gates or inside the venue, search for WBARENA-GUEST to access

Guests looking to purchase Disney On Ice souvenirs will find the process easier than ever thanks to a new contactless shopping experience with touch-free payment and digital purchasing options.  Guests can pre-order items prior to arriving at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza or from the comfort of their seats.  Once ordered, guests can pick up their purchases at a convenient, contactless pickup station during the show.  Additional information can be found here.

ABOUT THE SHOW

Embark on a quest with Mickey Mouse and pals as they follow Captain Hook’s treasure map for clues to find Tinker Bell after he attempts to capture her magic. Journey across the Marigold Bridge with Miguel from Disney ● Pixar’s Coco into the magnificent and mystical Land of the Dead and discover a vibrantly colorful performance with skeletons atop sway poles dancing over the audience in a beautiful cultural celebration of family. Travel to the wintry world of Arendelle and sing along with Elsa as video projection creates a kaleidoscope of crystals to help build her ice palace. Witness Belle lift into the sky as the enchanted chandelier comes to life high over the ice.  Demonstrate the power of teamwork when Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Jessie recruit the Green Army Men for a daring rescue in Andy’s room. Laugh hysterically as the hilarious pirates flip, tumble, and twist on tumble tracks, stilts and more in an effort to showcase their talents for Captain Hook. Sail away with Moana on her daring voyage across the ocean and bravely encounter the fiery wrath of Te Ka. And make memories with your whole family during Aladdin and The Little Mermaid as the search party becomes an all-out celebration.

Event parking is $10. Doors open for the event one hour prior to the event start time. Policies are subject to change without notice.

No tailgating permitted.

All guests that have reached their 2nd birthday need a ticket for admission.

Group sales is now closed for this event. For ticket purchases of more than 8 seats, please visit the NBT Bank Box Office at Mohegan Sun Arena. The Ticketmaster online transaction limit is 8 seats.
