SMG Gives Back
The SMG staff at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza are dedicated to the enrichment of the quality of life in our community and surrounding areas. Our employees participate in a variety of community events each year and raise funds for our Community Outreach Group that go to support numerous local charities. One of our marquee events is our Open Skate to benefit the local U.S. Marines Corps Reserves Toys for Tots campaign each holiday season. The SMG staff also assist with various public relations appearances on behalf of our shows including school assemblies, hospital visits and special needs events.
Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza receives a high volume of donation requests throughout the year. On behalf of the Luzerne County Convention Center Authority and select events, the SMG staff donated hundreds of event tickets to our local community each year. All donation requests must be made in writing on event/company letterhead a minimum of 4-6 weeks prior to the event date. The request must include event date, time, beneficiary of funds raised and email address and phone number for the person receiving the donation on behalf of the event. Please include 501(c) number if applicable.
All donation requests must be mailed to:
