Mark your calendar! The 2018 Penn Foster Commencement Ceremony is scheduled for June 2, 2018. The annual ceremony in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania commemorates the successes and achievements of graduates from our High School, Career School, and College! Graduates, their families, and their friends are invited to join the celebration!
How It Works
Graduates from all Penn Foster schools who have completed in any year can participate in the ceremony. You must be 100% complete academically by May 2, 2018 to be eligible to walk in this year’s ceremony. All graduates must purchase a ticket, as well as their cap and gown. Tassel with your specific class year and diploma holder will be provided to you at the event.

Time: 11:00 AM EST
Location: Mohegan Sun Arena, Wilkes-Barre Township, PA.
11:00 AM – DOORS OPEN
Upon arrival to Mohegan Sun Arena, make sure you have your printed ticket (if you printed at home) or your ticket on your mobile device. A valid ticket is required for all graduates and guests to enter.
Note:
Doors will not be open prior to 11:00 AM, so please do not arrive early.
11:00 AM – PHOTOBOOTH, PROFESSIONAL HEADSHOTS, & MEET + GREET WITH STAFF
Have fun in our photo-booth where you can pose with your family and friends using different props or have your professional headshot taken by our expert photographer. You can view photos from the 2017 Graduation here. You’ll also have an opportunity to speak with Penn Foster staff and instructors.
1:30 PM – GRADUATES PREPARE FOR PROCESSION
You will be directed by staff to the Event Level to align for the procession.
1:50 PM – ALL GUESTS ARE SEATED
The only reserved seating for commencement is for graduates, faculty and staff. All other seating is on a general admission basis for relatives and friends.
2:00 PM – CEREMONY BEGINS

To honor our most recent graduates, we will be recognizing and celebrating their momentous achievement of graduating from their Penn Foster programs.
FAQs
Q: What time do graduates need to be at the event?
A: If you wish to have professional headshots taken and enough time to enjoy the photobooth we encourage you to arrive by 11:00 AM and no later than 1:00 PM.
Grads should arrive no later than 1:00 PM to register and align for procession as ceremony begins promptly at 2:00 PM.
